Silas is napping...

Silas is sleeping and I should be cleaning but I do not have any energy to do anything today.

Last night Silas went down at 8pm and woke up at 12:30 like he usually does to eat but I am trying to wean him waking to eat which is going great. However, he awoke again at 2:30 am which I decided to let him cry it out. I have read so many methods on getting your child to sleep and its a bit overwhelming on which to try. He cried for 10 minutes and then went back to sleep. He awoke at 4:00 am which I went in to comfort and he didn't wake up again until 7:30 am his usually waking time. I decided to let him cry out the midnight/1:00 am waking again tonight and give him 2 extra ounces at last feeding. My hope is that this will let him learn he can fall back asleep alone. I'm determine to get this kid to sleep all night :)
We use LUVS diapers and they are not working the same. Silas rolls everywhere in the crib he moves from his back to belly to sleep in the middle of the night and twice this week he's leaked. Anyone with boys that sleep on belly what diaper brand did you use?

I suppose I shall use the last of his nap to at least clean the kitchen. I need a neighborhood like desperate housewives...I think life would be more entertaining LOL.

  1. We actually use the Up & Up brand from Target. I'm a bit of a "diaper snob" (I really don't know why) and was skeptical but after so many people recommended them I gave them a shot and its all I use now! And they're cheaper, which is a huge plus! I've also heard of people using diapers a size up just at night.

  2. My neighbor told me once that she uses target brand and loves them but she has all girls so wasn't sure. LUVS are at BJs pretty cheap so I just got those because the BJS brand made him break out when he was a newborn. I will have to go to target this weekend and try it out...the size up is a good idea for night!!!!
    THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
