5 months

Where to begin...

Silas is turning 5 months old this week. I remember when he was a 1 month old thinking ahh colic goes away around 3 months that seems so far away now we are at 5 months :)  He is getting so big and learning new things every day. He is such a happy baby and turning into a handsome little man.
He can roll over both ways from belly or back...and he isn't afraid to try it everywhere ;)
He laughs out laugh especially at the doggies.
We are almost sitting up by ourselves...a few more practice sessions and I believe we will be there.

He started out solids on the 14th of Feb...so far only vegetable that he will eat are sweet potatoes , but loves  all the fruit ( who wouldn't).  We are still trying to get him to sleep through the night without awaking for feedings, this has been a challenge. We introduced formula before bed which has help limit the waking up too 1:00 am and 4:00 am instead of every 3 hours !!!

Michael and I are putting the house up for sale and moving to Manchester. It was a tough decision but  believe its the best financially and physically for us.  I can continue to stay home with Silas while he is a baby and we can save towards a better future for him.  For this we like to thanks Mike's  mom Kim for letting us rent out her house, we are very grateful. We will probably move out by May whether the house has been sold or not. The packing so far as not been fun. Moving is the worst but figure if we do it gradually it won't be as bad since we can start moving stuff now. It's crazy how much junk you collect over the years...

Well thanks to my friend Becky ...I thought this would be a good idea since I'm home all day with only a baby to talk to LOL.
